Am Wochenende vor Halloween lädt Valve zum kostenlosen Zombie-Ballern in Left 4 Dead 2 ein. Bereits jetzt kann der Ego-Shooter über Steam vorausgeladen werden, im Laufe des Tages soll es dann losgehen. Bis Montagabend kann das Spiel dann im vollen Umfang getestet und gespielt werden. Auch für Besitzer gibt es einen kleinen Bonus: Wer zusammen mit einem Free Weekend-Spieler erfolgreich eine Kampagne absolviert und ihm dabei hilft, in der Zombie-Welt zu überleben, erhält das neu eingeführte Achievement "Good Guy Nick".
Left 4 Dead 2 wurde 2009 veröffentlicht und kommerziell ein riesiger Erfolg für Valve. Seit dem wurden mehrere kostenlose DLC veröffentlicht, zuletzt wurden auch sämtliche Kampagnen aus dem Vorgänger in das Spiel integriert. Demnächst soll auch der Steam Workshop Einzug erhalten und ein Tool zum Erstellen von eigenen Spielmodi veröffentlicht werden.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Actionreicher Cinematic Trailer erschienen
Kurz vor der Veröffentlichung von Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) hat Valve einen Cinematic Trailer veröffentlicht, der mit Hilfe des Source Filmmaker entstanden ist und uns den kommenden Multiplayer-Shooter nochmal schmackhaft machen soll.
Während die Spielemesse Gamescom 2012 in der Domstadt Köln auf Hochtouren läuft, präsentiert uns das Entwicklerstudio Valve einen neuen Cinematic Trailer zu seinem bald erscheinenden Multiplayer-Shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO). Darin wollen uns die Verantwortlichen innerhalb von über drei Minuten ihr Actionspiel nochmal schmackhaft machen. Wie der neue Cinematic Trailer schon vermuten lässt, zeigt uns Valve im Video jedoch keine richtigen Gameplayszenen.
